Huge grill in the middle of the huge terrace. Fantastic meat. Nice service and atmosphere. Located in the mountains. These are the advantages this restaurant can deal with.
The location is excellent, and the layered outside terraces are so beautiful by day, that I can only imagine how lovely it is by night. The interior is also stylish and the service was great (but it was half empty on Easter Monday, so who knows if they can keep up if full . The starters were very good, particularly the provoleta and chorizo criollo, a bit disappointed in the empanadas (but if you haven't been to Argentina or many Argentine steakhouses, you'll love them they ARE good, just not the best one's I've had . The lamb chops were exquisite, but the entraña a bit too rare and chewy, and I totally agree that fries should NOT be extra in a place like this... Actually, my only complaint is the limited menu: where are all the tasty Argentine cuts? Tenderloin and entrecote you can get anywhere, but where is the Bife de chorizo, Vacio, Asado de tira, Matambre..? This is what is missing and all that Casa Blava needs to make it top notch! I will still come back to this beautiful restaurant (even though I'm paying 100E for 3 people without any wine... , but please broaden your menu! :
