Cougar Canyon Lodge Escape Lounge

We stayed in the cougar canyon lodge on our summer trip through montana. it was a week and a little late for lunch. we have patterned their bacon cheeseburger and pastrami on marmor rye. both were excellent, the pastrami on rye was world class. the cougar canyon lodge has a mountain hut vibe, but do not let this fool them, this place offers some stellar tariff for in such a remote part of the Montana wilderness. the service was friendly and attentive. when they make their way into the small belt mountain in montana, they do one please and stop them in cougar canyon lodge.

Great place to pull off for the night for a nice meal, a place comfy place to sleep and relax.

We stayed there two years ago and have a really great time. The food was good even though the kitchen suffered from a lightning strike and while the 'breakfast ' is not going to be a full buffet, it was not bad. Small place served by a small staff with very personal service. We are headed back there again this summer!

Our experience at Cougar Canyon was perfect for my daughter and I. We stayed for two nights and two meals. Upon arrival we were meet by Todd, who was very friendly and he gave us the run down for our room, meals, pool and hot tub. Everything was comfortable, quite and clean. We enjoyed the menu that had something on it for everyone including my 13 year old daughter. Which can be a challenge from time to time. We would recommend this small get-away for a nice weekend with friends or family. Also, if you lucky you may catch some live music on the weekends!
