Flor do Minho - Monção

We loved this place. We shared a lamb and rice regional dish, and it was fantastic. The service was excellent, and the local wine was great. One of our best meals in Portugal. And it opened at 6:30!

We were there in May 2015 lunch with a family member living in Portugal. We had the best seafood rice arroz de Marisco . I have eaten many both in Portugal and Ontario, Canada, none that compared to this one. The service was good, it was during low season and business was slow. It 's situated on a small street. They also cater to weddings in homes, delivering appetizers. Great food, a must try.

This restaurant is located at the entrance of the old town’s neighborhoods right in front of the emigrants statue. Although quite empty (sometimes it might be a bad sign), the food is good, the portions very big and the staff friendly. I’ll repeat the experience, next time I’ll visit Monção. Enjoy!

Me and my boyfriend are there when visiting Monção. Great posta barrosã and arroz de grelos with pork loin and bicas. We've also enjoyed a glass or two of a local Alvarinho. The service very kind and attentive. Too bad the payment by card wasn't available.

Great local (meat) food in a place you would not expect. Son of owner is fluent in English (thanks to computer gaming). Very friendly service and good price quality.
