Veggie Vietnam - Moncton

Excellent vegan fare, very nice prices too, in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Always a winner, never disappointed, fast service, good prices... did I say that already? Nothing more to say. If you're a vegan, or just into good food, come here. You will not regret it.

Good prices for the buffet. The food, however, is just okay. Other than the egg rolls and jelly dessert most of the food was a little bland. I don't think I would visit again but I don't regret trying it once.

By far my favourite restaurant! Amazing vegan food and the lady who runs the place is so sweet.

My mother and I love this place!! So cheap and the food is so yummy. I didn't put this place as 5 stars because there's not much parking and the food takes a long time to get to us but everything else is amazing :

We recently tried Veggie Vietnam looking for something a bit different from our usual favs. We showed up around 12:00 where there was already a table of 5 and one of 2. We were seated pretty quickly by a sweet lady who seemed to be doing pretty much everything cooking/waitress). After reviewing the menu which is quite extensive) we decided to order the Assorted Veggie Tempura $9.99) to start unfortunately this was the worst tempura we have ever had. If you are expecting the Japanese style that is lightly battered and quickly fried you will not be getting this. The veggies were coated in what resembled chicken ball bo bo ball) batter and came with a cherry dipping sauce. They were greasy and heavy; very disappointing. To top it off, the appetizer took about 25 min to arrive. For the mains, we ordered the pad thai $12.99) and the grilled mushroom with BBQ sauce $11.99). We had to wait a further 25 min for the mains and we were sadly disappointed once again. For an all veggie restaurant, I was expecting a wow factor with the flavours but that was not the case. Although the BBQ sauce on the grilled mushroom dish was nice and smokey, I would not order again. The pad thai lacked serious flavour as well but there was quite a large portion. I so wanted this to be a great spot and I wouldn't have given it any stars if I could but the woman serving us was very sweet and friendly. There was only 1 other person on the staff she was in the kitchen the whole time). I am hoping this was an off day for them but in all honesty, we won't be back. It didn't seem as though they were prepared at all for a Saturday lunch and I think that contributed to the experience we had.
