The space is divided using half walls between two dining spaces cutely furnished with old, 50 's kitchen tables chairs and even older wooden farmhouse sets. The first counter is cold sandwiches and salads. In the rear center is hot foods. To the left, are large dairy type, glass door refrigerators with items to pitcher and take home. Since it was Tuesday, we got the tacos. You can so them as a salad, hard or soft shell and choice of protein. I got the shredded chicken. Definitely an Americanized taco but the portion was large and it was tasty. Next time I will try a regular salad and get some Waldorf chicken salad to take home. It looked really good. I hired Farmhouse Catering for my daughter's rehearsal dinner. The food was absolutely delicious. Nora, is amazing! I received so many compliments! Thanks Nora. Yvonne Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We ordered a meal for 30 to go. Everything was delicious. We ate as soon as we got the food home (less than 10 minutes away) One dish was not heated, like still refrigerator cold. We did receive compliments on the garlic bread and traditional lasagna (both of which were heated perfectly). I’m think our one dish was a fluke. I will give them another try at some point. Awesome home cooked food at a great price!! I wish we lived closer. Very clean and the staff is friendly.
My honest opinion. I do suggest eatting here but I have a few things to share. Jump to the bottom if you just want to see my summary for eating here. I thought the place had just opened for the first time and were trying to find a rhythm. The food was okay. It is a very cute place. They offer free flavored water with your dine in lunch which was really delicious. One was cucumber and the other was a virgin Simosa or something similar. A couple of the items on the hand written menu that I ordered they didn't have available yet for the day apparently (arrived at lunch time so maybe they wait for dinner to have it so I kept having to switch what I was ordering for my side. The staff taking my order didn't really have any clue of the menu but in fairness, she only worked there 2 days. Took a really long time to ring up my order. Got my lunch but had to go back and ask for the cake I had also ordered. FYI, the cake was the driest cake I have ever eaten and I generally eat gluten free stuff so you know if I say this was dry, it was like the desert sand put in a cake. Guessing maybe it had just been there too many days. Plus when they put it in the container, it had somehow lost all the top frosting. Maybe they flipped it plating it somehow. Not really sure. Summary: eat here if you have a lot of time to get through the order process and to wait on your food. The 2nd process was much faster than the 1st. Do NOT waste your money on the desserts. And pay attention that you get all the things you ordered. They were all very nice. Just seem like they make food but lack organizational skills at even the basic level.
