The staff seemed surprised that we were frustrated and charged us for a soda before we left. Prices are INSANELY HIGH and service is sketchy at best. Everyone who can in after us ate before we left and the restaurant was half empty. No dinner this birthday. AVOID. AWFUL.
Food was OK, two of our party did end up getting sick later that night. They had chicken dishes. We had to send our drinks back multiple times for bugs in the ice cubes. Not really sanitary. Our waitress had to be asked multiple times just to give us water and wasn't apologetic for the bugs in our food or us having to repeatedly ask for things.
Awesome food drinks, service was fantastic even with it being super busy! Everyone needs to have some patience, they’re doing a wonderful job and are a huge asset to Smith Mountain Lake!! Loved the tropical quesadilla and the queso-fundido!!
I have been coming here for years with my family. Over time, especially in the last few years, the portion size has decreased and pricing dramatically increased. $8 for a small cup of queso. $12 for a small guacamole that used to be much more substantial for less. This place is going to lose customers due to pricing if they don’t change. Five of us ate for $150- only one alcoholic drink- think about that. $30 per person average for typical Mexican. Three years ago it would have been less than $100 with larger portion sizes. Even though in the lake- not worth it for the future.
Great outdoor covered porch for dining. Ahi tacos were spot on. Fun spot to dine on the lake
