Contribuisci feedbackWeekend at SML would not be complete without visiting Portside. Beer is cold. Rita is with a salted rim and wings are better than everywhere. Trent is a big server. Luke takes bartending honor. Ty, come back!
We arrived at 12:15 for lunch. All tables in the covered area have been included. The only available table was in the sun. We saw an umbrella and asked an employee if we could put him for the shadow. He said yes and began to help us. A manager went to us and suddenly told us we couldn't set up the screen. I told him we had permission. He said it was too windy and then he turned away from us without excuse or offers another option. Then the server came. She asked for our drink. I ordered iced tea and she said unapologetic we don't have tea. I asked if she had zero coke and she said diet coke. I ordered water and she looked at me. The menu selection is very limited and it was difficult to find items that we could all eat. Two adults and two children got the nachos, and they were terrible. The chips were the size of a thumb, like the crumbs on the bottom of a pocket. The chicken on the nachos was not edible. The Philly cheese steak was not good. The server never asked us how the food was. I'm done with the bad food and poor service.
Portside has an optimized menu of tasty dishes that are made right! SML's only on-the-water grill, its casual atmosphere invites guests by boat or land to a unique, over-the-water dining experience. PG
Eat over the water. Grilled buffalo wings, BBQ sandwiches were good, the hotdogs taste was not the best. Feed the big carp below. Drink some cold Corona and watch the boats.
Great spot on water! Wish they had a more expanded menu such as salads, but all good wait staff is absolutely awesome
