The chicken, the soup and the lenses had a good taste, the rest was a sort of blande. It was very full, couldn't eat anything. There were several other tables when we were there. Thought it was kind of expensive for the area though, considering that you can get a complete lunch for $5,000 elsewhere. But still very cheap by European, US or Bogotá standards.
I still suffered from the aftermaths of tasting chocolate con queso in the afternoon, so went easy to order the smaller ones of soup. This was more than enough with small pieces of potato, vegetables and some chickens with a rice on the side. My partner looked at the picture in the menu (as shown here) and decided to do so. Although I believe that the meat was beautiful, it came with massive amounts of potatoes and corn, which also made little way with its appetite. For a Saturday night only 3 tables were in use. I suppose he would have been better with another court. They sell beer negro, a positive one for me as I don't really like bigger
It is true that the gastronomic offer of Monguí is still very limited, considering it is an emerging destination, and that it still has much to do and offer. I was recommended by the restaurant and the truth I expected much more. The service is very bad, slow and you have to ask more than once to bring what has been asked. a lot of decoordination and lack of better performance, they must improve and correct. the very normal food, it doesn't bring anything that's new.
