The service was better than last time! Could be better when the restaurant isn’t full. Love the nightly specials and fish chips were amazing!
We made reservations for lunch Christmas Eve. The reservation was for 12 noon. The restaurant was freezing cold and the maître d’ apologized saying that the heat had been off overnight. It was extremely cold and uncomfortable. Even the staff was walking around with heavy coats. By the time we left our feet were numb. I am surprised that no one went into the restaurant to turn the heat on in time to have customers be comfortable especially since the weather forecast had been predicting unbelievably cold weather for several days. The food was very heavily salted. The french fries were too salty to eat. The butter that they put on my New York strip steak tasted rancid. They would be better to leave it off. I have to commend the wait staff for being so pleasant under such miserable conditions.
The drinks, appetizers and dinners were phenomenal. The only problem we had was we were a party of 6 and 5 of us were done with our dinners and my friend still did not have her crab cake dinner. Obviously, there was an error somewhere, but, we were very patient and server took a drink off the bill. We’re all human and mistakes happen. We will definitely be back.
The restaurant wasn’t crowded yet the service was TERRIBLE. There were 3 hostesses and yet our waitress was never there!! Poor management! There was a man that came over to discuss TV’s many which were broken on a Sunday with football and World Cup). Soooo disappointing !!!
