Called and booked a table last minute and sat in the bar areaThe young lads serving despite being busy were attentive and took drink and food orders quicklyStarters were the home made soup and king prawns, both were tasty and well presentedMains were curry and the sea bass, both perfectly cooked and flavoursomeGreat meal and atmosphere, couldn’t fault anything
A group of 12 had a fabulous meal at The Kings Head, Usk on Sunday 21 April. We preordered our meals and were requested to be seated at our table by 5pm in order for our meals to be served at 5.15pm. A variety of meals were requested, veggie, roast dinners, fish and chips and served promptly on hot plates. The portions were very generous and the meals were delicious. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and friendly, although our group may have been a tad noisy but very happy. It’s evidently a very popular venue as more people were arriving as we were leaving. Highly recommended. We will definitely return.
Late Mothers day meal. I couldn't go out yesterday due to working, so my son took me out tonight for a mother's day treat, along with my husband and mother in law, and it was a treat. From beginning to end, the service was excellent, the food superb, atmosphere lovely. The waitress:, Nothing too much trouble, even though myself and my son can be fussy, she put up with us with a smile, lovely young woman. Thank you for a lovely evening
