The staff were superb, very friendly even though they were run off their feet. We were told that there would be a wait before we ordered which was fine and the food was very good and worth the wait. The staff were very friendly even...though there were only two people to serve the whole restaurant which was packed. We sat outside and enjoyed the view over the sugarloaf towards the beacons while we waited. When our food arrived the person who brought it apologised for the wait and asked if we needed anything else. Would definitely recommend the restaurant as the food was very good and the coffees were great.
I went to this restaurant last night and was excited to try their Sunday dinner special. However, I was disappointed to find out that they had already run out of dinner items before half of the dinner service was over. We ended up waiting for a whole hour just to be served a soup and a sandwich. I don't think I will be returning to this restaurant.
I had the best dessert of my life today at Sugar Hat restaurant. And let me tell you, I've eaten a lot of cake in my time lol!
The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be returning. We had afternoon tea, which included a variety of options such as prosecco, coffee, tea, soft drinks, different sandwiches, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, crisps, and a great selection of cakes. It was a paradise for those with a sweet tooth. They also offer warm and cold take-home options for all their dishes and provide venue hire that is ideal for all visitors.
