Great food on a quiet Sunday evening. Large portions and great service. Casual dining along the river Wye. Close to Llandogo B&B
Lovely pint of Thatchers gold cider to go with my wife 's full bodied and tasty Shiraz red wine. We parked our motorhome across the roa in the pub 's car park after the genuinely helpful Landlord had moved somone 's vehicle to make space.
This is a wonderful and welcoming pub with a spacious parking lot. We stopped in for lunch while driving by and were greeted by friendly staff who advised us to register our car number at the bar to avoid a parking fine. We ordered a delicious vegan curry and the trio of sausages, both of which were very enjoyable. The menu offered a good variety of options, including specials like rabbit. The staff and other customers were all very pleasant. We will definitely be returning in the future.
My wife and I dined at this restaurant several times during our stay over the Easter weekend with our two dogs. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch with a variety of vegetables and a generous portion of meat. The restaurant offers a nice selection of beers and wines. The owners are friendly, and the regular customers are sociable, making for a very enjoyable dining experience.
