I live Jimmy Johns and I’ve eaten at many of them, but for some reason this location ALWAYS overbakes their bread. It’s dry and crumbly and hard. I saw another review mention this as well. Idk what’s going on with this location. Everything else is normal.
Well the atmosphere is brightly lit like any fast food joint. The food is always consistently good and the services not bad. I asked I had my sandwich cut in half and every time I do I never get a sandwich cut in half.
1st complaint is just the food industry itself. We need to get away from wearing gloves. Guy with the backwards hat and red birth mark on the left cheek literally dropped off the line to answer his phone. So with his gloves on he grabbed his phone, swiped his phone to answer it and as he walked away he took his left hand, with a glove on and dug his left ear out. 1 min later comes back, doesn't change gloves or wash them and just keeps making food. The problem with gloves is it far too often replaces washing hands and is a fake sense of security for the consumer. Then I get out to my car and they put tomatoes on my sub. I HATE TOMATOES. So I'm sitting here eating a sub that is so soggy it's dripping mayo on my pants and shirt. So now I have to take 30 mins out of my only day off this week to go home and change. Not a good experience to say the least.
Ordered $116 worth of food online. One guy ordered Club lulu without tomatoes ,and I ordered a gargantuan with special instructions. Got tomatoes on the club lulu and didn’t get the gargantuan at all. Had to go back to the store after calling them to get my sandwich ,and of course the person that looked at the receipt said there was no special instructions on the gargantuan. He just had to say something ! instead of just giving me my sandwich, that I had to wait for. ! And then he was only gonna make me one sandwich when I ordered a giant. One of the sandwiches had great bread, the other one was hard on the bottom. I guess we’ll have to find a different place to order our company’s festivity foods from. We’ve already blackballed Subway, so what’s another sandwich place? Guess we’ll try Cousins next time. Which is too bad, because it took me a while to talk everyone into using JJ’s as our “go to” company “special occasions “ food place. Another thing …when I got back to the shop the 2nd TIME! I was told that they forgot a cookie and a drink.
