The Dugout - Monroe City

Great food! We're in there for a little over an hour, but was impressed enough with the service and the meal to make a point back! Also, very clean furnishings, and the regular seemed to have a great time!

My wife is Swedish and we have had the famous Schnitzel (broken pork onion) in Denmark and other places in the states. Nothing compares the crispy and tasty bread time with the easy to eat and tasteful Tylloin, which can act as lunch and dinner for most! I highly recommend for those who want to stop Monroe Citys way to plan for lunch or a weekend dinner. You won't regret it. The owners (Terry and Laura) take the additional step to make sure you take care of yourself and surround yourself with a staff that you always gladly stop you! -Phil Adam

I've eaten many places across the United States and I would be hard pressed to find food any better than at The Dugout Sports Lounge and Steakhouse.. very clean establishment, friendly, professional staff with meals at working mans prices.. I'll be back ! Chuck Darnell , Quincy Illinois
