Buddy's Point - Monroe

This place was incredibly good AND really fantastic service. I came twice when visiting the family in Monroe last November and got the whisky both times, was very impressed every time. I moved here 6 months later, just to close them because of the difficulties of the pandemic, I really hope they are able to come back to any capacity. I miss you, Stone Table. Seriously, I never enjoyed as much as this restaurant (at least in this country).

Best shrimp tacos ever! My first time in this place. I have often seen it, but today I decided to let it happen. Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Ridiculous are looking for cakes that I wanted to try so badly, but I am on a diet and got fries for a splurge before I saw the cakes!!! Next time I know better. If you get water or tea, they have a nice small bar with tasteful simple syrups, fruit water and various other treats. So brilliant. I can't wait to go back. I need to find more excuses to visit Monroe just so I can eat at Stone Table!

A wonderful mix of casual and fine restaurants in downtown Monroe! Very nice place where you will fall for lunch or dinner reservations (on weekend). The staff is helpful and beautiful, and the menu prices are wonderful and appropriate for the absolute quality food you get. My advice would be to make weekend reservations if you wish fine food, or to dip for lunch if you want casual. Full menu available both times. The cooks here know what they do, and you get generous portions, no matter what you get. Like a date or the whole family. I can't wait to come back!

We were here early on Saturday afternoon. It is located in downtown Monroe and it is a shame that there are so few places to eat in downtown, we could only find two, Stone Table and Thai Square. We chose Stone Table because it was a nice little place and we liked the feeling. I have two shrimp tacos that were brilliant (see picture). Most of the seats are on the inside, but there is a table outside that sits 4-6 people (nice day so we sat outside along the road / footpath) . I would recommend as the food was good and the staff came at least three times to check us and make sure that the food was good and if we needed something. Parking in the city centre is easy as there are many street parking spaces.

Sweet little spot. Interesting menu, daily specials, nice vibe and a nice view. People were nice, food was fresh and they take Apple Pay. Will be back for sure. I got a wrap and it came with homemade tortilla chips and some kind of artisan salt. I want to go back for the brisket and blueberries if it’s still on special.
