El Paso Mexican-american Cuisine

I dined in and had a take out, but the young waitress has no sense. First, she gave me a burning hot skillet without a handel cover, and it burned my fingers. I had to ask for a cup of ice to cool my fingers.She has ZERO SENSE on how to pack the food. I got a take out shrimp meal with a salad and rice. She was dumb enough to pack the salad under a sauce full of shrimp. I told her that she is supposed to keep the cold stuff in a separate box because when I 'm ready to eat in 4 to 5 hours, the lettuce salad will be soggy and nasty. Her dumb response was THAT IS HOW WE PACK IT HERE. That means you don 't believe in using your brain at all?

Every time I am in the area, I stop by. They are located in the same building adjacent to a gas station, but don't let that fool you. You will have a nice dining experience there. The food is good at a fair price. The staff is nice and they get your order fast.If you enjoy Tex-Mex food, you need to give them a try!

They reuse chips and salsa from the tables I used to work there. She would force us to do that or she would get mad.

The rice was over cooked (or old and on heat way too long) besides that the meal tasted ok. But after finishing and waiting to pay, I watched a waitress dump my leftover tortilla chips in with the to be served chips. That turned my stomach and had me second guessing the freshness of the Pollo Loco I ate.

TRUCKERS PAY PARKING Horrible little place sold to a family two years ago. They are now chasing truck drivers off their property so they can bring u-haul rentals in. Drivers beware they wake you up banging on the side of your truck at 0530 to collect a parking fee of $12. They close at 2130 no one to pay after that. and will interrupt your break to collect the fee. This is a horrible BP station!!!Unfortunately I thought the woman collecting was a lot lizard. So I tried to chase her away at first. This is an anti trucker place now that it has been sold! TRUCKERS PAY TO PARK
