I went for a Philly cheesesteak with fries, and it was also great. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the atmosphere is lacking. You place your order, receive it, and then head outside; there's not much space inside. Despite that, I would still recommend it.
This is a fantastic little drive-in spot that clearly has a lot of local fans! It's quite popular, and I can't wait to return for dinner. The milkshakes are amazing!
I drove out to the restaurant the other day, and I have to say, it has really declined since last year. The person taking our order lacked any customer service skills; they were hard to hear, didn’t know the menu options, and still managed to mess up our order even after repeating it three times. The execution was poor, and to be honest, the quality of the meat wasn't great either. Do yourself a favor and go to Mr. Mac's Canteen in Milford instead—it's definitely worth the drive compared to this place now.
Such a big menu for a hole in the wall place, there were 4 of us and the food came out in about 25 minutes. Worth the wait! Fried chicken was great, Zoar burger also really good. Lobster roll was mostly imitation crab and langastino with a Lobsterclaw. We came via boat off the lake, the boat/beach club isn 't very receptive, pro tip: call ahead .
I got the Texas spicy chili. Flavor was fantastic but no beans no meat, just chopped onions. It was either the bottom of the pot or server forgot to stir before dishing up. Wish I could try it again due to the wonderful flavor but will never be coming thruagain.
