Contribuisci feedbackThe food is good, love the Santorini pita. But this review serves as a notice to those with food allergies. We discovered our daughter has a shellfish allergy by eating here. She surprisingly ate chicken tenders and fries though. After she broke out in hives on the way home, I called to ask if they fry/batter the chicken with shellfish. The guy told me no. Another time (just for me) I asked a different employee because there was no other reason for her mysterious allergy and was told “sometimes yes sometimes no”. So be careful eating here if you have food allergies. (We did get it confirmed by an allergist after that it was shellfish)
The food was very good and the servers were fantastic
The good is good 3 star typical fast casual dining place with a good selection. I give the staff at this Monroe store 5 stars super friendly people. As with all the showmanship the atmosphere is definitely blah but if you want atmosphere go to steak48 or delfriscos lol they have food for everyone from fried fish to grilled salmon, gyros and more. So diet or not they got you. The Greek salads are great.
Food was good and staff was on top of everything quick food and great service
Sharing our experience from a few months ago. My wife's cousin came down from Sparta with his family so we decided to hit Shomars for the first time. We were greeted by friendly staff that took our order. They we're knowledgeable about the menu and patient with our group of 9. This was a great place to bring the kids. Not that they are rowdy or were rowdy but they just didn't seem to be the pressure to make sure they are not going to bother anybody. Food took about 20-30 minutes but they brought stuff out as it was ready which was great for the kids. All of our platters for fantastic. Manager (I'm sorry I forgot your name) came over at least on two occasions to check on us and ask if we wanted it needed anything. Honestly overall great experience my only constructive criticism would be to implement a cleaning schedule or intensify the one currently in place. As an operations manager with Marriott I would hire every person what worked that shift.
