Village Hands Cafe - Monroe

This is a wonderful restaurant that offers delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. However, I do have one issue to mention. I was the second person in line and ended up waiting over 20 minutes just to place my order! It’s not ideal for the person at the register to be also making coffee, handling payments, and delivering food to tables. This setup is slow, can be unsanitary, and was quite frustrating given the long wait time.

I drove past Village Hands Cafe many times and always promised myself I would stop in. Today, I finally did, and what a delightful experience it turned out to be! The food was delicious and fresh, the beverage selection was eclectic, and the ambiance was unique. I would give it a perfect score in every category. Food: 5/5.

This is a great place to stop after exploring the Orange Heritage Trail. The muffins were delightful, and our lattes were quickly brought to our table—they were delicious! We had a pleasant, albeit brief, visit. The lunch menu looked appealing, although it was a bit early for us to order. Food: 5/5

Built my own omelet with spinach, feta cheese, and salmon ... It was fluffy and delicious! Staff is super friendly. Cozy, rustic atmosphere filled with artwork and ample seating indoors and outdoors. Great WiFi too ?.Food: 5/5

We spent the weekend in this area and we were looking for a good spot for breakfast. We found this cute little place and as we walked in the place had a unique and cute atmosphere. There were numerous paintings on the walls and cute decoration all over the place.They had antique furniture which looked really nice.We ordered sandwiches for breakfast they were delicious and the portions were generous.Friendly staff, quick service, great options of the flavorful coffee. Only 1 hour drive from the city and many hiking trails in that area.This place is also kid friendly ! Highly recommended!
