I decided to try some classic Indian foods, and ordered the chana masala (mild spice) which came with the usual side of rice, as well as some gulab jamun. I was very surprised by how many gulab jamun pieces they give you per order! This was definitely one of the better priced deals for such a treat. There were 4 large pieces, and all of them were plump and soaked full of sweet syrup. They did have a bit of a starnge flavor. Almost as if they were in the refrigerator with some other food. And they were extremely cold as well. The channa masala was good, too. A nice portion for just $12. They made the food a bit too spicy for my taste, but I think they will satisfy most people who enjoy a bit of spice but not too much. Overall, it was a nice and flavorful curry. Lots of chickpeas and a curry 'sauce ' that was a nice consistency. All in all, it 's a good spot to check out in Monroville. I especially think they are great when you need a good deal. The food isn 't the best in the city or anything like that, but you should be satisfied. I 'd recommend you also try out New India Grill if you like this place or are in Monroville craving Indian cuisine.
The service here was pretty good. We came at around 9 pm and our food was ready in less than 10 minutes. However, while the butter chicken and naan that we ordered was decent, the palak paneer was terrible. Super bland and you could tell the spinach wasn't fully cooked. Will probably not be returning.
I advise everybody to avoid this establishment, especially if you are a woman. Mohit, an employee, decided that it was a good idea to text a customer without their permission asking for pictures. This behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Stop harassing your customers. Focus on your job which is making and serving food. Attempt to talk to women on your own time, and when you have consent
India Garden was super good. I got the Matar Paneer and my wife got the Shrimps. Good food and good musix! Music* If you are in the area, I highly recommend India Garden
Got takeout food (chicken biryani and tandoori chicken), and it was great. Loved the flavor, hot but not too hot, chicken was cooked perfectly, plenty of chicken in the biryani, everything was fantastic. I felt like I wanted to keep eating even though I was full. I'm new to the neighborhood, this place is only a few minutes away, and I'm pretty sure I'll be a regular customer.
