Who loves this dinosaur chocolate cake, The Mother Lode? I love the great portions of food!! My left remains are enough for the next two meals at home/work! The Portobello sandwich was juicy and delish. The Veggieburger really tasted fleshy. I thought they made a mistake and gave me meat. Maybe his Gouda cheese and caramelized onions. I don't know, but it's good. The dinner salads are excellent and the only thing I hate is that they don't save too well so I have the need to end the whole damn thing that doesn't leave room for a duck. Share it if you can or it makes a meal on your own. The Cali Citrus Salad is my fave, and I usually hate fruit in my salad. You have Entree salads and a really great all you can eat salad bar. Mac n Cheese, Sugar Pie Potatoes, Pizzas, Avocado Rolls... It is all comfort food you need in one place and in Gargantuan portions. It may not be gourmet, but it is good classic food and I am always happy to eat here and throw my diet to the wind. Save space for Desserts (I know, I know.how? . Mother Lode chocolate cake. And cheesecake is also pretty good. Happy hour is disappointing because they have a wealth of wonderfully sounding special cocktails, but they are just $1 off for HH. Bummer. Not much of a bargain if the drink is $10. But they have a very good appetizer menu (Calamari, Nachos, Garnelen Tacos, etc. and 1/2 of selected. Good drink is $2 free. It is a little empty, but now and then if we want a quiet fast HH without fancy drinks and some 1/2 off chicken wings, and Zuchini sticks we will stop. The regulars are friendly enough and we had beautiful times chatting with the ’Tender and whoever beside us. For the beer lovers, they have a good choice of beer, but only $1 off. I'm going through the bar. I like it for a while then bitter from the worthless discounts. Minus a star, Claim Jumper! You can do better! Be ready to wait when you stop for dinner. WATER in the bar and try their magic special cocktails.
