Axe Lounge - Mont-Tremblant

We were not able to get a table, so we had to ask to sit in the newly opened dining room instead. The hostess informed us that they do not take reservations for the Axe Lounge.

The atmosphere was cozy, our server juliette was beautiful and we enjoyed our drinks and appetizers.

The restaurant offers excellent food and service that meets Fairmont's star standard. A new policy no longer allows children to dine in the restaurant, unless they sit in the lobby. Reviewers suggest improving the seating in the lobby area. Overall, they recommend leaving the children behind and enjoying a fantastic meal at this establishment.

The service was slow and the food took a long time to arrive. They brought the wrong tartare, giving us salmon instead of beef tartare, which we didn't enjoy. The restaurant didn't charge us for the mistake, but we didn't end up eating it. However, the buttermilk fried chicken was delicious. Overall, we found our dining experience at the Fairmont disappointing, especially considering the restaurant's reputation and prices.
