La Roulotte - Mont-Tremblant

I was still hungry after eating pasta, so I had to come here to fill up. The food was average, with nothing particularly good or bad to say about it.

We stopped at a nice roadside food stand and tried the poutine, which was delicious. There is plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas for shade.

I am so glad that I stopped here for lunch...it was excellent. I just wish I had a place like this in my home town. I had a Hamburger ($3.25), Medium Fries ($2.75) and a can of pop ($2.00). So much better than fast food chains. I love supporting these small business and will definitely come back again when I am in the area. Well done!

Found this place in St-Jovite more by luck than judgement as had just come off a plane on the way to Mont Tremblant and fancied some local fast food not from a chain. Wow, we were so glad that we stopped here - and parked right out the front and sat in the summer evening sun on the front seats. Being from Australia, Poutine is always the first go to food in Quebec, and not expecting too much ordered the classic with a couple of steamed hotdogs with all the fixin's. Fresh, quick, UNPRETENTIOUS which we loved - sometimes you just want a basic hotdog - not gourmet - and they delivered this in spades. Even tolerating my bad french we were well feed and very content . The poutine was infact sensational, even if from a foam bowl - but the cheese squeaked, and the gravy was flavoursome. It is what it is - and it does what it does - and in both senses it is a wonderful place and i hope that it stays honest to itself and doesn't get modernised or gourmet'd up otherwise i am sure i t will lose its allure. Don't have kids but i would think this would be a mecca for families given the value for money.Keep up the great food and prices!

Wow, the owner of the burger and potatoes stand is not driven by greed. Prices are reasonable, and there is a promotion offering free meals for kids under 12 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a purchase of over $10. I tried two mini poutines and a double burger. I paid $3 for the mini poutine with cheese, but $4.75 for the one with smoked beef (not my favorite, next time I'll try it with ground beef instead), and $3.75 for the double burger, including all taxes.
