Shagwong - MONTAUK

During our recent trip to Montauk, we started our day at The Shagwong and wrapped it up there as well. We enjoyed great food and drinks throughout our visit.

A classic spot in Montauk. It's a fantastic place to enjoy some drinks and grab a bite to eat.

Nice local bar. The zucchini fries are plentiful and have a good spicy sauce. The Clams Casino is interesting like Oysters Rockefeller.

Been around forever, always a fan favorite, it's a good meal in a nostalgic place. Been cleaned up since I started going there as a little kid

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. We had a long day hiking the trails and stopped in for lunch. The hostess/waitress had her work cut out for her. I ordered the clam chowder and husband got the cheeseburger and fries. The chowder had a creamy flavor and big chunks of potato and clam. The cheeseburger was cooked really well and had a thick patty. The cheddar cheese is a nice touch. They didn’t have French’s mustard so hubby ate it dry. Overall it hit the spot.
