Creamistry - Montclair

I had a fantastic experience at Creamistry in Montclair, where they offer delicious nondairy ice cream! I customized my own creation, inspired by their Chocolate Combustion flavor. I chose a cashew vegan base (which was an extra $1.50) with Vanilla Bean flavor. I added brownie bites ($1), brownie bark ($1), and Reese's sauce ($2). In total, my regular-sized treat came to $12.45.

I visited this place for the first time on September 10, 2022, around 5 PM, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The girl who took our order didn’t even greet us, which set a negative tone right away. The prices are really high for the small portions of ice cream you get. My husband ordered the strawberry bond flavor, but it tasted off and was missing the cheesecake bites that were supposed to be included. Instead, it was just strawberries on vanilla ice cream. If I could give zero stars, I would. I ended up spending $20 on two small ice creams, and I won’t be returning. I’ll stick with Cold Stone from now on.

I arrived after driving an hour, only to be turned away by the staff with just 15 minutes left until closing time. I was really looking forward to dining here, as I had heard great things from a friend. If you're looking for attentive service, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I'm very disappointed.

Took an hour to get ice cream, only 3 people ahead of us. I personally wanted to walk out, just like the people behind us did, but my son was begging to try this place out. The ice cream didn’t live up to our expectations. It’s a little pricey but i get it, it’s a gimmick and you’re paying for the experience. I won’t be back, if you go make sure you clear your schedule
