Subway - Montebello

I had a pleasant experience while getting my Sandwich from this location. I like to order online to get the best deals and then walk in store as the order is coming in so I can verbally supervise and get the sandwich built my way. Sometimes I switch the bread or add more veggies, extra marinara, get the veggies warmed up with the meat, etc....So I was lucky to get a very nice, understanding Sandwich Artist in Abraham Mendez. He not only made a terrific Sandwich for me but went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Switch the bread? No problem! More Veggies? No problem! Different cheese? Ok!... He sure is a Pro and knows that as long as I don 't go away from Standard ingredients I can truly have the sandwich done my way . He even suggested a new Rotisserie Sandwich recipe that got me really interested at the moment.Can you believe there are some employees that still don 't get that? IF IT 'S STANDARD INGREDIENTS AND PORTIONS THERE SHOULDN 'T BE A PROBLEM TO PERSONALIZE MY SUB. Well, some are newbies, I have been a Subway Restaurant customer for 25+ years and I am pleased when I find servers like Abraham Mendez. that truly understand how it works and make the customer want to come back (I did go back to try his suggested recipe on the same week). Thank you Abraham Mendez...you should be manager and train the New recruits.

I got a bread sandwich. See my pictures. I contacted their customer service first and never heard anything back. I try to not leave negative reviews without talking to the business first. I tried, typical chain that doesn't care about customers. For the price I paid, I could have gotten much more food elsewhere. Forget Subway, going to a mom and pops place is better.

I wish you didn't delete my good honest review, now you get less stars..This location has been serving the community for decades.Recently remodeled.Food is decent if you like Subway.Best Subway in MTBService is usually decent.Tables could be cleaner.If you like Subway, this is usually one of the better ones.

Came to grab a quick lunch and was greeted by a friendly staff. They were extra helpful with their fresh selection of breads, meats and produce. Not only are their Sandwiches fresh, but this location was really nice! I guess when Subway commercials says Eat Fresh they really meant it. This location was really welcoming, updated and clean. Thanks for my sandwiches and my smiles.
