At first glance it's wonderful. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, it's quite a disappointment. I booked a small room, but it had the charm of a monk's cell. That's why I spontaneously booked a higher category; the room had a great view and a generally nice atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. Thanks to the employee who tried hard to find a suitable room for me. Unfortunately, there were significant deficiencies: Toothbrush cup used several dozen foreign hairs between the sheets and mattress. Drinking glasses dirty Air conditioning was only put into operation after a day (I thought I couldn't use it, but on the first morning it turned out that it had to be released first; that had been forgotten). completely impractical “design” sink, the water collects unhygienically in the soap tray. If you turn the tap on a little too much, you will get wet. Lots of long blonde hair in the drain of the tub (I'm a brunette) I had specifically asked for a tub, but I didn't want to bathe in it, not just because of this hair, but because I felt increasingly uncomfortable overall. old fittings the vanity mirror has to be charged via USB when I wanted to use it, lighting was not possible. a hatch between the bathroom and the room, which is very unclean (including an interdental brush), completely unnecessary and blocks the desk. old bedside tables, nice to look at, unfortunately the doors were stuck and the inside compartments smelled old. I find the minimalist standard furniture quite unique, unfortunately they only work to a limited extent and overall there is very little storage space and counter space. no towel rails, but a stained, partially rusted heater. Requests for remedial action always had to be made at least twice. The fitness area is a long hallway that someone often walks through and is used as a storage room for old technology. There is a draft and concentrated training is almost impossible. It's a shame, because the devices are good. The pool is nice but a bit boring, only bubbles, no massage jets. Overall, I was really surprised that the house has a 5* rating. You can argue about taste, but I expected cleanliness to be at least 3 stars absolutely! Rooms: 2 Service: 2 Location: 3

Excellent Charming hotel in an excellent location in Montecatini. What immediately fascinates is the beauty of the building, the modern and refined furnishings and the warmth of the environment; our room (junior suite) was very large and quiet with a beautiful view; the very careful furnishings with carefully mixed colors and styles, courtesy kit with Comfort Zone products (very fragrant and natural); the bed: never experienced such a comfortable mattress, not to mention the cleanliness. The restaurant: the excellent chef works with expert skill in the preparation of meat and many varied dishes with a menu that is never predictable (being a vegetarian I found a vast choice). The breakfast buffet, with local products, was rich and of good quality. The spa, rigorously spotless, has a very hot swimming pool, comfortable loungers and various paths (Turkish bath, sauna); upstairs treatment area with highly trained staff (super massage). An honorable applause must be given to the staff: always with a smile, always incredibly helpful (from the delightful receptionists to the waiters ready to advise you) they deserve more than 5 stars...
