Scharenbergs White Lake Beach Resort

They absolutely love this place! There are paws everywhere, which is adorable. The food is delicious, and there's a cool little bar to enjoy. Plus, the beach area is fantastic!

This resort is a hidden gem! The rooms may be a bit outdated, but they are equipped with all the essential amenities. We were part of a large group, and the new owners were incredibly courteous! The dining was excellent, the beach was clean, and there was live music in the evenings. We will definitely be coming back.

Relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. Fish fry was done just right, both deep fried and baked served hot! Sides are a nice treat, onion shavings and a couple corn fritters. A nice alternative to fast food and reasonably priced.

Super friendly, (family run) spacious, clean, affordable, great food and bar. Built in 1926; now rather eclectic. Lots of roaming (free range) peacocks that will eat out of your hand if you’re brave enuf to let them. Low key, relaxing.

The drinks were fantastic, and the bartenders were excellent. As for dinner, it was just okay. I ordered the fish tacos, and the fish was fried a bit too long, plus the tortilla chips were stale. My partner had the prime rib, which he enjoyed, but it didn’t come with any au jus. I’m certainly eager to return, especially for the drinks, as the new ownership seems promising. I’ve heard that the Tuesday night specials are great, so we’ll likely be back to try those.
