Lee's Sandwiches - Monterey Park

This is your standard Lee's sandwich shop. Their BBQ pork banh mi is delicious—the bread is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, and the vegetables are nicely pickled. The $1.25 baguettes are incredibly tasty right out of the oven. The only downside was that there were just two guys working during a busy time, and they did their best to manage the flow of customers and their orders.

Great spot for a Vietnamese iced coffee! However, there was a bit too much ice, so you'll need to wait for it to melt a little.

The sandwiches are delicious, and the staff is very quick with my orders. I particularly enjoy the turkey or ham croissant with lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo, mustard, onion, and my favorite—the little yellow pepper and a pickle on the side. Plus, I get discounts here!

A very affordable Vietnamese sandwich fast food chain. This particular location is located inside Atlantic Plaza and is a great place to go when you are in a rush. The service is very quick and the prices are affordable as long as you have cash. I ordered the #3 10 inch bah min special for only $3.21. The french bread is made fresh daily and is served slightly toasted. They don't fill up the sandwich with the meat and vegetables but I can't complain since it is only $3.21.

There's just something about lees. The sandwiches are cheap. I mean, cheap. And it's great. Number 5, extra meat. The only downside here is cash only (of course) and the smell of this place is off putting when you first walk in but you get used to it real quick. I find myself in here for a quick cheap bite fairly often.
