Why do you put your close at 11, but it’s nearly 10:30?

My visits to the Soledad Carl's Jr. are usually quite satisfying. Service quality is nice as I witness the collaborations of the daytime management with the staff. I can't say enough about the overall attention of good efforts the staff gives as they fulfill customer satisfaction goals. A good manager leads by example and my most recent interaction with the dayshift manager proved to be measurably pleasing. Fast food at this Carl's Jr. means promptly prepared food that satisfies my taste.

I usually don’t write reviews but fast food places should be commended when they raise the bar. I went in expecting a “carl’s jr” burger and received a real burger that actually tasted like quality and was really good. House made ranch too. Was really pleasantly surprised.

Location is the only thing this Carl's restaurant has going for it. Well, and maybe it being a fairly clean store, too. Everything else? Half the time, they get your order wrong. The people here are either in too much of a rush to get an order out though that doesn't seem to be possible because it's never really all that busy (maybe that's why it's so clean, so few people to actually mess it up! or they simply don't care about what they're putting out. Burgers consistently come without things that we pay extra to be added to it. Just today, the burger I ordered with extra tomato (an extra charge and extra pickle came with zero tomato and zero pickle. It was meat, cheese, sauce, and bread. That's it. Nothing else. I bumped up my rating to two stars just because it's pretty quick in and out of the drive thru, and the store is clean, but it really deserves more like 1.5 stars. Since that's not possible, this is what I have to work with, this is what it gets.

My wife and I were driving through town on the way south and stopped for fuel. While there, we decided to pick up some food for the drive and stopped at Carl's Jr. The food, unfortunately, was a disappointment. My wife's Famous Star and Zucchini Bites were decent, but the bun on my Double Cheeseburger was stale and hard. My burger was also lacking enough sauce, so it was very dry. And of course, it's difficult to go back and ask for a correction when you're back on the freeway. Hopefully, this was just a one-time event. I did notice that they only had two workers while we were there (about noon on a Friday).
