Contribuisci feedbackWe came in the middle of the day to get a drink and appetizer. the bartender we called “Mama” was a jewel! very sweet and great. we came later in the night after a show to see her, but she just ran off, but she made sure that the new barkeeper knew what we wanted. we enjoyed the music and danced later in the night, but hated too much cigarette smoke on the terrace to enjoy it. the cocktails were good and so were the jalapeño poppers!
Great atmosphere with a focus on various Whiskies and food. Most of the crowd appears to be locals. (At least on the night we went) I had the lobster mac and cheese which was just absolutely decadent and rich. Accompanied by meaty pieces of lobster, their own cheese sauce is made in house and blends well into the dish. The cheese is a little too rich as it was overwhelming. I couldn't finish the meal. Fantastic flavor, generous portion, just couldnt finish because of the richness. I would return and try something else, the menu appears to have great variety.
Had the Nancos and a couple of beers on a Monday in Dec so it was quiet but would be a could spot on a busy night.
Great Locals Hangout, you can drink, smoke and dance on the patio while listening to some of Monterey's best musicians most nights if the week. Inside is warm cozy. Darts, music and GREAT FOOD. Can't go wrong, with a whiskey flight and pigs wings!
We attempted to go here but the kitchen was closed because a utility issue. So we went there today. The only reason I can see people come here because of location and their selection of beer and whiskeys. I had their beer battered snapper. Who knows if was red snapper or not. You would think beer battered fish with have a little beer taste. With all their ipas and other fancy beers you think they can put a few drops in their beer batter. The steak fries when ice and crisp. We also had their slow cook ribs what a big mistake and waste of money. it would have been better if I cook the ribs in my oven and put some K C Masterpiece on it. We had their hot wings. Some of them were cold and some of them were warm. It was fried and dried. Still they're better than most buffalo wings in this area. Big disappointment. Maybe they were having their typical day or an off day. The other reviews were good. Maybe the reviewers were used to eating slap so this would be an improvement over that. Two thumbs down.
