Cafe Fina - Monterey

The atmosphere and the prospect of the water from our table were beautiful. our server was excellent. but the two tempt my partner and I ordered were not great. the cioppino and the ravioli were not as well flavored and seasoned as we would have liked.

The cafe fina is one of the best places to eat in monterey, if not in quite California. it is a traditional Italian seafood place, offering amazing dishes made with high quality ingredients. but more than good eating (and drinks) it is a place where they can take someone from a colleague to their mother to a date. the owner dominic is personable and really takes care of the culinary experience of each hospitable. from the minute they go, until they dessert and amaro pack them or one of his excellent co-workers- take care of them. they can also not beat sitting on the marina and watching the water and the sea live. the restaurant is a facility in monterey and the guests come from the close and far to enjoy eating and ambiente and they know that this is a good restaurant because it has a loyal succession, people who have gowned here will be customers for living.

They love eating and the atmosphere. the mica was amazing! missed with dominic.

Stopped in for a quick lunch on Black Friday and we were able to secure a table on the outside front patio. We even saw Mr Domenic Mercurio and he helped us secure a shaded spot for our dogs in their dog stroller! The food was superb! I wish we had taken pictures but we attacked everything as it came out! Calamari and Clam Chowder bowl were yummy. The seafood cioppino, shrimp pasta and pizza were also so good.

We live here and come to Finas often. Friendly staff and owner. Great menu and drinks. Small and quaint dining room. It’s a go to for us. Thanks Roxanne for the friendly service and tolerating our lengthy meals.
