Duffy's Tavern Family - Monterey

The closure of the DLI gate has turned this once vibrant student dive into a mere shadow of its former self. While it still evokes good memories, it’s not quite as enjoyable as it used to be.

In a very quiet back road the service is good, but the burger was not as juicy as I hoped.

Love this place! I came here a lot as a kid. So happy its still around. Great burgers. Good local spot. Nice folks.

Family friendly as advertised!Small, but there was room for our family of six with two babies (had high chairs available). They provided crayons and coloring pages, and had star wars playing at the bar so my kids were happy.We got spaghetti and fish sticks off the kids menu and both were good. We also had burgers and the Cobb salad which were delicious.Service was friendly and fast. Not much parking, but not too busy Saturday afternoon. Would recommend!

Excellent eating and great staff. was a perfect way to finish our day in monterey! best tweezers, seafood pasta, reuben sandwich, sweet potatoes that we had in this opposite.
