International Market Deli - Monterey

Had just finished a Whale Watch Tour on the bay and the swaying waters got my stomach all hungry, so remained on the international market and Deli just to take the road from the pier to one of my favorites, the Falafel Wrap. loved the Falafels; it was delicious and hit the place. The Deli also serves other vegan options in packs, plates or salad form. And while you wait for your food, you can pick up some items for your pantry from your market. I went to the store to buy a certain herbs and the customer service was exceptional, extremely helpful. I bought what was similar to what I needed, and some fresh chicken sawarma and falafel that were delicious. I highly recommend and I will look for other food in the future... thank you.

Fun discovery in Monterey away from Cannery series. Wide range of foods. We had lunch at the sidewalk table and saw the cars over.

If you are in search of Middle Eastern food ingredients and halal snacks in the area, this is the place to be. The food is amazing and all the ingredients are fresh.

I discovered a Mediterranean grocery store and restaurant near Monterey Bay. I decided to try it out because it was Halal. The menu was limited to basic Mediterranean dishes with options for chicken and beef/lamb. I tried the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Beef Shawarma Wrap, and Baklava with pistachio flavor. The Chicken Shawarma was okay, but the Beef Shawarma had no flavor - it was bland. The Baklava was the highlight of my visit, it was good. There is no seating available for dining in or out.
