Paluca Trattoria - Monterey

Had the Calamari appetizer that was really good. Not oily and crispy on the outside, but very delicate on the inside. My leading actor was the lobster ravioli. Very tasty, especially the sauce. Had a business dinner there with 17 of my colleagues, so they can accommodate large groups. Service was very good and on the water makes for a great time.

Disappointing and involuntary experience. My mother, daughter and I came up on a whim after walking the Wharf and saw the many good reviews of this restaurant. We sat out immediately and had no possibility for inside or outside. We ordered the cultivation and the waiter had brought our duck salad and finally the soup out. It was disappointing because we think our appetizers would be like everyone else first. It was unwilling when we got our food (all at once), we became invisible. The administrator in the service or the host (whatever his title is) checks every table around us and we only sat ducks. The special? Seafood Pasta, I would not recommend because it was only moderately watered the sauce and definitely not worth the price. The bread, after we had asked our waiter several times, was just a sign that it shouldn't be as stale. We have a sense that our business has not been desired and if that was the case, please have a sign of those you want in your facility. Thank you and hope that this business will be better in the future.

Amazing atmosphere, you can sit Pier side and watch the seals or sit inside. Feige and green salad was really good, so the best rib was filled Ravioli. Ruby orange soda was ok, sweeter than fizzy. Amazing service. I recommend for a quick lunch

It is a very beautiful place and for the most part and a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I ordered the fish and chips that were more dough than fish. The meal was good overall, but do not give up the dish I ordered.

Visited Paluca for the first time today. I?d heard that the chowder was so good? well, it?s true. The soup is rich, silky, creamy base with beautiful clams, just a bit of potato, and a hint of citrus. It was so satisfying. The calamari was tender and crispy and a fantastic accompaniment to the chowder. Our server, Katie, made our visit so pleasant and helpful. Everyone we encountered was friendly and the location on the harbor was beautiful. I?ll definitely be back.
