Paris Bakery Cafe - Monterey

This place was delicious! Beautiful looking pastries, and we had some flat almond thing that was delicious, as well as a good almond meringue and some sort of fruit tart (not as good as the rest, but still yummy! I got a wedding cookie expecting it to be like a Mexican wedding cookie, but I did not like it. Probably french wedding cookies are different. Anyways, one of the best bakeries we went to on our trip here! Vegetarian options: I am pretty sure cookies and pastries don't have meat in them.... Parking: Took us a bit of time to find parking, but we found a spot. We went on Saturday at noon in the summer. Wheelchair accessibility: I believe the door is level with the sidewalk.

Genuine French pastries place. I know those (I'm French), genuine taste and products, and large variety. Totally recommend !

The food is always fresh and the staff are fast and friendly. The only downside is the seating area is limited. But it's worth trying!

Get there early to get the good stuff. Fresh bread, merengue cookies, desserts. I always buy more for my road trip out.

One of my favorite go tos for anytime I want a quick something. The BEST sweets, and treats. I love chocolate cresants, bread pudding with extra cream cheese, and their veggie sandwich is loaded up and fresh! The French onion soup is delicious on a chilly day. Go try it. Depending on when you get there could be a bit of a line, but, it moves pretty quickly. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are there and very good, but, have to look for them, as they aren 't labeled.
