P.f. Chang's Monterey

This location is my favorite. The food is always excellent as is the service.

They said they didn’t see our reservation but we were seated after a few minutes. It took awhile for the server to take our order so we gave her the drink and food order at the same time. It didn’t take long for the food to arrive and the lo mein and spicy chicken were great. All in all a good experience.

We have been to this location many times, and we have always had a satisfactory experience. This time, though, the food seemed really greasy, not served hot, and one item (sautéed green beans) we asked for with no hot spice was first delivered VERY spicy, then, when we asked the waitress about it, she took it away and returned with a non-spicy TOTALLY charred platter of green beans. We will not likely visit this location again, and we are re-thinking P.F. Chang 's in general. Plus they have changed their loyalty program and it is very difficult to find our information.

I like Chang’s. Was surprised my open table reservation “hadn’t showed up” on my latest visit. Also wish ambiance table lighting wasn’t so “hot blue” it gave me a headache and I noticed at least one other table unscrewing their bulb. Finally they seemed out of fortune cookies — “sad pandas”. But again I love Chang’s and I’ll be back ;

Our reservation did not reflect, waited 30 minutes to be seated. and literally another 30 minutes for a server to even take our drink order, offer us water. won’t come back again.
