The day that we dined here we got a two for one deal which added to the value. Cost was around 380 pesos which is about $23 USD. This was my first time to Monterrey in August of 2015 and had an awesome trip. This place gets packed on the weekend because of the buffet which also has a concert floor with live entertainment going on as well. There 6 areas of this buffet: Italian, Mexican, Grill, Desserts, Asian, and a salad bar. I sampled a bit from all the areas and the Grill was the BEST! You cannot find a better rib eye steak for under 400 pesos in all of Nuevo Leon! The reason why this is so great is because there is a lady right in front of the window cooking up 1/2 inch think rib eye steaks on a real wood fired grill. Most restaurant especially in the states do not do this, rather they use a big fancy convection oven which is good, but the grill is awesome. Once I had a rib eye off the grill I stayed with them for the rest of time i ate. The Italian was too cheesy and they use a different type of cheese which is not bad but different from the Alfredo found in the states. Dessert area you can order milkshakes, smoothies, and ice cream on the spot and made to order. Mexican had decent flautas and rest of the areas were decent, but nothing compared to the grill. I will defnietly come back for the Grill. I have some great prime grade and choice grade steaks all around the world but this was unique and very flavorful.
The buffet was good. Salad bar and dessert bar had a good selection. Service was prompt and friendly. Not everyone spoke English, but the staff was still very attentive and managed to figure out what I wanted. I had grilled chicken from the grill and it was perfectly cooked. I didn't try the Italian side but it looked very good. Mexican food was ok. Would definitely go again.
