We ordered a seafood asopado, which was not the best I've ever had, but it was still enjoyable, especially when paired with the stunning view of the skyline.
The restaurant is located in a beautiful area by the sea. It used to be called something else, but now it's called Artifact. While it has been renovated to improve the quality, there has been little change in the price ratio.
We were hungry but didn't want to leave the golden sunset that the Rambla de Punta Carretas was giving us for free that day, so without hesitation we went into El Viejo y el Mar (yes, a restaurant named after an E. Hemingway novel). We had a seafood stew for dinner, not the best I've ever had, but one nicely accompanied by the view of the Río de la Plata horizon.
Excelente ubicación en la rambla, junto al mar. Ahora su nombre ha cambiado y se llama Artico. Remodelado para mejor pero poco en cuanto a la relación precio calidad
