The grill meat is obviously the highlight and so tasty, but sitting at the bar counter you can see all the other delicious offers that people have ordered. Many options on the market, you will not be disappointed by this.
Great place, great service, great taste. It is a bit expensive compared to the local restaurants, but the portion is good. We ordered the steak that was great, it came either with fries or salad of your choice. We also ordered a tomato dish that we thought was just a salad with lots of tomatoes. To our surprise it was a tomato dish with different varieties. They were sweet, fresh and juicy, we never had anything like that. They also had singers running around with guitars. I'm glad we tried.
Pretty surprised at all the people calling this a tourist trap. It doesn’t look much different than the other restaurants in the market but the steak was delicious. Had the tenderloin with peppercorn sauce and while on its own wasn’t cheap, it was such a large portion of tenderloin it could easily be shared between two people. Chorizo was also very good.
No complaints here service was polite and the steak was great, some of the best I had in South America. Bill as expected, prices quite high, but this is a tourist location.
This is a great place for a traditional parrilla near the port in Montevideo. They go through a hole-in-the-wall looking alley that reveals a bustling collection of restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. Cabaña Veronica was busy, but our big group sat after a short wait. The servers were friendly. We ordered parrilla for 4 for our group of 5 adults and a child, and it was more than enough for all to enjoy some familiar meat cuts and try new and exciting things. The meal came with two sides. The desserts were delicious, but their homemade flan with dulce de leche was everyone's favorite.
