Little Tokyo - Montgomery

I had lunch at this restaurant and experienced fast service. The sushi and soup were good. However, I was surprised that the fish was served on ice wrapped in plastic, as I usually prefer it on crushed ice. I am unsure about the use of plastic wrap, as I am not a fan of using excessive plastic products.

This restaurant is fantastic! It is one of the top Japanese restaurants in the area. I highly recommend trying their lunch specials; they offer a lot of delicious and fresh food at a very reasonable price. Everything I tried there was exceptional. I enjoy supporting this small, family-owned restaurant because they do such a great job. The interior of the restaurant is very clean, and the takeout orders are typically ready within 10 minutes of placing the order.

You will not find a finer, authentic sushi restaurant in Montgomery county, and few equals down in Houston. There is a real master chef at work here. The chirashi I ordered even came out with real wasabi (or at least an indistinguishable facsimile). The only negative is they don't presently serve alcohol, so no sake. Strongest recommendation.

Their food was amazing. Better than a lot of other sushi places I’ve been to.
