We were seated immediately both visits. The inside is bright and clean. The food was very good, as was the service, especially Traelyn! The Monty Platter was really good and plenty for two (a large piece of catfish, shrimp, crawfish, chicken strips, and fries). The bisque and gumbo were very good too, though my wife thought the gumbo was a little on the spicy side. I'll just say I emptied my bowl.
Delicious! I think our server was extremely busy. So be patient, but the seafood is worth the wait. The boiled shrimp was large and cooked perfectly. Great view.
I went there many times. Food been very delicious before but today the taste of sausage was strange. It is not yummy like before. Also salad with chicken that not have various vegetables like before. May be they changed the chef. I also ordered seafood gumbo as I always order but the taste of gumbo is not good and not the same. Hope they can improve food taste.
10/30/2022 UPDATE: the food was good with some exceptions the steak was **** and I was never asked how I wanted it cooked, I was offered the special said I wanted it but couldn?t find it on the menu but the prices for other items were more reasonable they charged me $35 for the special and it was only a little food with some errors I had asked them to put the sauce on the side but they poured it all over the food when I mentioned it the waitress she just said sorry but didn?t offer to correct the error. The staff and waitress were incredible and the place was packed, it was Father?s Day. I found it interesting that you had a long wait for food yet they didn?t offer any bread or anything to snack on during the long wait. It was clear that all the employees were working very hard and that the kitchen was backed up with orders. The coconut shrimp was just ok and they offered nothing to dip it in except for some spicy dip called vodo sauce, it should be a more sweet sauce for coconut shrimp. The bread pudding I loved and the kids chicken and fries well, the fries were very cold. My Father?s Day guest enjoyed the poboy. The prices were a bit high and the first responder discount was less than 1%. Over all it would be the hard working staff that I would revisit the place for and not the overpriced food. Oh the cheesy fried grits were good!
Delicious! Even though they do not have a gluten-free menu available, many of their items are grilled and the servers are very attentive to your allergies. Jace was an amazing waiter! Will definitely be back.
