Mr. G's - Montgomery

As always, it was a divine experience! I’m so happy to see it open again. The pistachio dish, pizza, cannoli, and calzone are all favorites, not to mention the Mediterranean Sampler.

Me and my colleague went out for dinner after work like we frequently do. Our serve was TOP NOTCH, some of the best overall customer service we've had in a while. We both have extensive restaurant management backgrounds and are a stickler for good customer service. Mr.Al (short for Alvonta) is a gem and breath of fresh air in todays restaurant industry, and he looks mighty fine while doing it! Oh, and the pizza was great too lol!

Good food! Fresh salads; several varieties. Excellent pizza. I had a lamb gyro; it was packed with meat. Best Greek salad I've had in years. Menu has variety of Greek and Italian dishes. Moderate prices. Hours are limited; open for lunch. Closed Sunday and Monday. Service good but a bit slow.

Here for a lunch meeting with co-workers. I had the Gyro Sandwich with a side of Rice. The meat was seasoned well. Unlike many gyros that struggle with the balance of too little or too much tzatziki sauce this one was just right. The pita was nice and soft and seemed fresh. I opted for the rice instead of fries and was rewarded with nice flavorful Greek style rice. I would return in the future when in town for work.

We're visiting from Las Vegas and decided to check out this restaurant. What a delightful surprise! The food was excellent, and we all loved it. The portions were generous as well. The service was quick and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely return on our next trip to Montgomery.
