The Borland Inn Brunch House

What a fantastic discovery! This restaurant is absolutely stunning. It truly feels like stepping into another era and location. Anna is delightful to chat with, and the entire venue is so warm and beautiful that you’ll want to take your time exploring all its wonderful features. The quality of the experience is also a great value. It's in a perfect spot for exploring the area. City Winery is definitely a must-visit for dinner or entertainment.

We were absolutely charmed by how adorable this place is—it made me want to go antique shopping! The contactless check-in was seamless. Breakfast was delightful, and the picnic lunch package was a gourmet meal in a paper bag. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend it for a weekend getaway.

We visited for brunch, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. I have no plans to return. The only lunch option on the menu was chicken and waffles, but they were out of that dish. We were given just two paper napkins for our table of two, and when I requested more, they provided only two extras. The portion size of the salad was incredibly small for two people. Overall, it's definitely overpriced, and they added a mandatory 20% gratuity to the bill. In summary, there really wasn’t anything good about the experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. We ended up spending $82 on a few scrambled eggs and a small salad!

When we arrived, there was no one there. We found our room then had to figure out the code/lock system. Breakfast the next morning was a joke, some cheap French toast with peaches from a store. I thought the peaches were old dried up apples, frozen to microwave. I just could not eat it. I do not recommend going there. We left a day early because it was the worst experience we had in a B&B. 10/15 to 10/16/22. Dodds, PA

OH EM GEE!! What a GEM!! I booked The Borland Inn by happy coincidence while traveling back to my home in the Midwest after leaving Connecticut. It was an impulse decision and one of my better ones I must say. From atmosphere, to location, to hospitality, to service ..FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH. I even got a free upgrade. I hope to have the privilege of staying in this stately beautiful home again some day. Thank you for EVERYTHING! (Including a PERSONAL tour of a local vintage shop that was just adorable. I still am wearing a bracelet I purchased there every day ?
