Bull Tavern - Montgomeryville

Great spot to catch a game, and they serve delicious bar food!

The fish and chips here are the best I've ever had, and the cheesy steaks are big and delicious! The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is excellent.

The roast beef sandwich was excellent, especially when paired with horseradish and au jus.

Steamed oysters were worth the price, just not as good as I assumed it would be, but honestly, nothing to complain about. Girlfriend got a southwest salad, which was huge and better then expected. Service was great. Atmosphere was calm and quiet which I like. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I expected pasta with the oysters and didn't get any. When I mentioned it to the server I was told she didn't know I wanted the entire and that they weren't suppose to serve entires that late which is completely acceptable because it was 10 on a Saturday night BUT it didn't mentioned that on the menu before I ordered and was expecting the pasta to fill me up so I left a bit hungry still. I'd go back and try something else for sure.

Old timers bar and restaurant. Food is always good. Earl, the bartender was awesome, so we're the cooks and wait staff.
