It was a pleasant surprise to see both sushi and Chinese food choices on the menu. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend this place.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the portion sizes are disappointingly small. The calamari, for example, costs almost $8 for only 8 pieces, which is much smaller than the standard serving size at other places.
We have tried to give this place a chance more than 20 times because their cooks are good. We will not be going back EVER again. The front end is HORRIBLE and the manager is the WORST. Today was the last straw that made me want to review this place. Our sushi sat there ready for over 15 minutes (no it's not the excuse that they are under staffed) She cleaned dirty tables when no one was waiting to be sat down while our table was still dirty from our appetizers. Filled uprefills for pop on other tables waited in the back for 3 minutes for an appetizer to be done while walking past our food more than a dozen times. Sat by the computer doing NOTHING we finally had to walk up to her and ask for our food. Ifyou want service this is not the place. If you want good service go to Elk River or Maple Grove service is always on point.
Flavorful and splash full of color dishes. They taste fresh and delicious. A hidden treasure trove.
Our experience at Asian Cafe did not meet our expectations. Despite requesting spicy food, the flavors were bland. Additionally, we found the prices to be higher on the menu compared to their website. They charged an extra $2.50 for brown rice and only offered tap water to save money. We have had better meals in both St. Cloud and Buffalo. Unfortunately, this will be our first and last visit to Asian Cafe. Overall, it was quite disappointing.
