Northside - Monticello

Not the best bar I've ever been to, but the bartender was very friendly, the owner seemed friendly, they had restrooms, an ATM machine, and their prices seemed fair. I went to this place with 2 friends just to see how they would be received. The bartender was nice to them and they were treated very well. They are a good small town bar. Recommended.

When the Google asked me how my night was spent at the Northside Bar in Monticello Iowa I was instantly compelled to fulfill my inner honest need to Tell the World and leave my word as the Gospel according to Chris. The Northside may as well be revered by any fun seeking, sytlish, Dude as his new mecca in his quest for the finer things in his life. A simplistic yet very effective approach of achieving a very solid state of inebriation is used to ensure a memorable experience thru at least midnight....thanks Debbie

THIS PLACE IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!! I loved it like I was vested in it since I first walked in in 2012. Been my only stop since then. Hot bartenders, stiff drinks low prices..love it

Folks please boycott this bar 2 of my very very good friends went in this place is an absolute dirty bar most health codes aren't met unless the health department comes extremely expensive folks when I get back In the states from vacation I will never go back again other bars that actually care deserve my family's money
