Went for lunch with a friend for the first time and there was live music. It was a beautiful day out and we wanted to sit outside. After waiting for the host, we requested to be seated outside. The host offered we could sit at the bar and wait for a table. One of the reasons we chose to eat here is because we seen they had ****** marys on special that day. We each ordered a ****** mary....DONT! Tasted like straight tomato juice. When we asked what was in it...we were told a mixer in the midwest that pepper is what is used for spice. It was the worst ****** mary I have ever had. After sitting for a while, the bartender asked if we wanted to order. We told him we were waiting on a table outside. He then told us good luck. The staff had major attitudes as if we were bothering them and could have kept their smart comments to themselves. They were busy and appeared to be unorganized. Understandable. The bartender that wished us good luck returned and said a table was free. We went and sat outside. Once we were able to get the young gentleman's attention, we were good to order. Ordered food and went to the restroom...return to a man sitting in my chair. I told him I was sitting there we have extra chairs if they would like them. They sat at our table. No biggie. After they left one of the employees said...yea we seen them sit in your chair. Really!? The food came out...the chicken sandwich is comparable to a McDonald's chicken sandwich. Do not recommend or plan to ever return.
We ate outside so I'm not sure what the inside vibes were. Our server was very nice, goofy for sure but it made us laugh. Dogs are allowed in the outdoor seating area. The food was just meh. It could have been because we ordered hot food and it was hot outside so I would go back and try other meals/eat inside. But first thoughts are that it's average food. Nothing to rave about and nothing to complain about.
We love their Irish and non-Irish selections. High quality and very good prices. One of the few sit-down locations we can get out with a less than $60 bill. One of our favorites.
The shepherds pie was good. I liked the shrimp taco salad. The patty melt is on my daughter's top 5 ever. The service was great. Our food came quickly. We are going back.
