Bar L'Ovalie - Montignac

A quaint and traditional French street bar/restaurant. Very accommodating for poor French speaking English people. We were also able to sit a a restaurant table and order crepes only (some restaurants don't allow this). We had lovely crepes and some soft drinks for a very fair 21 euros.

After 20 mins of no service we just left.

Excellent reception, service at any time, rare in Montignac.The dishes are good and good prices on the edge of the vezere.

We were after a snack and drink between lunch and dinner service,after kayaking along the Vezere and Bar L'Ovalie was perfect. A very welcoming and accommodating waitress served us lovely Croque Madames and salad followed by a huge ice-cream. Just what we needed!

I don't want to confuse a 4-star restaurant at a snack all in the morning. ( 4 star restaurant taps in the eye in the plate)
