A half-hearted evening or, according to the opinions already posted and the beauty of the place, we were making an almost perfect idea of what was to wait for us. first coffin, we are ideally placed on the terrace, but, little hic, a smoker customer is close and the smoke that comes to us live. we then ask to be moved, rather inside. but the tables are already set for breakfast. The house mistress makes us understand it well, and offers us another table outside. menu at 35€, and it's gone. with aperitif rosette, generously accompanied by rillettes and toast. Peasant salad with a copy and appreciated, salad of st jacco walnuts (a little cooked to our taste) with quality endives this season, but one, deprecated, escaped from the eyes of the chef. the spindos then come with Provencal tomato and dauphinois gratin; Copyy plate. very good meat, however a little too cooked compared to the order; presentation without cracks. arrived at the dessert, the waitress has just apologized for not being able to serve the latter yet ordered at the beginning. we explain our little troubles to her. She apologizes and sends the boss to us. which explains to us that two additional 6p tables were "invited" in addition to the hosted customers. However, we are not there for anything else having reserved upstream. visibly a little overwhelmed tonight, she apologizes only, not finding it opportune to offer us, for example, the coffee taken after a disappointing dessert (e.g. eco-type ice grades) and another frank brake type. while we were expecting another final.
We visited this restaurant with friends yesterday. The setting is wonderful, the staff and food were excellent. At around 40 euros per person (including wine) we thought it was great value, you could easily pay more than twice as much for these standards. We live locally and will be returning. Highly recommended.
We had booked an overnight and reserved the restaurant for dinner. The food is excellent and we would highly recommend it. Thomas, the waiter was excellent. The restaurant was full and he did the entire service alone, without any sign of stress. He is an asset to the hotel. I would employ him without a doubt if I was in the restaurant business.
I ate hear for Dinner with my small tour group for dinner. we ate outside and the area was beautiful. I had the fois gras with sweet breads for dinner. I am a person who will try any food once. The dinner was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner.
